Now That I Think About It

I always wanted to do this... and I probably will again. I found the following to be true:
*Don't* use a flashlight to find your tripod, you will inevitably ruin your 30 minutes exposure at the last minute.

*Do* Check and see whether your lens is fogged up before you try this.

*Do* make sure your lens is set to infinity focus.

*Do* Put a lens hood on, in the dark, to prevent extraneous light from getting in. (That's why this is a crop. :P )

*Do* Pump up the exposure, and see all the stars you don't ever notice. :-)

*DO* try this sometime. It's fun!
